A mirror-city in the trees, named for the Arshinagar of Lalon's song, the city of mirrors that sits just out of reach. Ours is 45 minutes from Dhaka.
Fourteen years in the forest
Arshinagar opened in 2012 in Pajulia, Joydebpur, on the edge of Gazipur's sal forest, close enough to Dhaka for a weekend, far enough that the city disappears. For over a decade the resort grew slowly and deliberately: a pond for boating, a pool among the trees, trails, a playground, and a restaurant that became a destination of its own.
In 2026 we completed a full renovation: the two-story Emerald Suite with its double forest-view bathtub, the hilltop SkyView cottages with open-air forest showers, and refreshed Executive, Deluxe and Eco rooms. The forest stayed exactly as it was. That was the point.
